Applied Underwriters Office Building

The Applied Underwriters Headquarters at 144^th and Pacific Street in Omaha is the anchor building in Omaha’s Heartwood Preserve development, a $1.5B, 500 acre mixed-use development that is touted by the owner as the largest urban development in the country.  The three story 260,000 SF headquarters building sits on a 50 acre site.  The 4,500 ton structural steel frame provides an open-office concept to the two wings of the building through the use of 110’ long, 9’ deep trusses.  The two wings are joined by an 80’ tall, open-air atrium structure.
